Biographical / Historical:

J. R. Brandrup was born in 1864 in Denmark and immigrated to the United States in 1885. Brandrup was active in the Mankato community, but he is best known as the founder and president of the Mankato Commercial College. He died in 1944 and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato.
