History Center Museum

We are excited about your visit to the History Center! Come in and enjoy the rich history of Blue Earth County!

Within the Museum, we have a few things we ask of you!
-Please use your eyes not your fingers on the artifacts outside of designated areas.
-Please enjoy a snack or beverage you bring in with you in our seating area on the main level.
-We ask photos only be taken on the main level of the building.

Parking
Visitor parking is available in the main parking lot on the south side of the building and guests can enter under the blue awning. Street parking is also available on South Fifth Street and guests may enter through the Fifth Street entrance.

Museums 4 All Member
If you have a SNAP/EBT Card, BECHS offers a reduced rate of $3/adults and free children admission to the History Center Museum. Your card must be presented in order to qualify and per the Museums 4 All program, payment must be made on a different card or with cash.

Research Center

You are also welcome to submit a request either through email or by ordering through our online index.

A few things to note before visiting:
-While there is WiFi, there is not a great place to plug-in devices. Please bring charged laptops or tablets if you plan to use them.
-We do not allow personal scanners in the room.
-Staff reserves the right to refuse to copy materials due to copyright or donor restrictions.
-Please ask before using your phone or camera to take a picture.

Hubbard House

606 South Broad Street, Mankato

Admission is $10/adults, $8/Seniors (65+), $5/children ages 5-17, Free for BECHS Members and Kids under 5

We are excited to welcome people back for guided tours of the Hubbard House! 45-minute tours are offered at the top of the hour; the last tour starts at 3 p.m. Tour groups are limited to twelve people to ensure everyone can fit in spaces. We request, but do not require, people to book their visit in advance. You can book using the pop-up at the bottom of the page during the tour season. All tours begin in the Carriage House.

Within the Hubbard House, we have a few things we ask of you!
-Please no food or drink in the House.
-We ask you to enjoy your tour and please leave all cameras down. No photography is allowed in the house.
-Many of the pieces in the house are original to the family. We request you do not touch the furnishings.

Street parking is available on Broad Street or limited parking is available behind the Carriage House.
