LEAVE YOUR MARK ON HISTORY!

In 2024, the Blue Earth County History Center will embark on a BOLD $300,000 Exterior Improvement Project to enhance accessibility, safety, and visibility including:

  • Replacement of the 30+ year old parking lot surface.
  • Improved accessibility with additional parking near the building, new parking lot entrances, and new sidewalks.
  • Improved security with the installation of lights to illuminate the parking lot.
  • Beautification Projects such as Pollinator Plantings, Bike Racks, Public Art, a new Monument Sign on Warren Street, plus Gathering Space with a Commemorative Brick Patio.

Commemorative bricks are a fun and unique way to memorialize your family name, organization, or business in Blue Earth County history while supporting the Society’s important mission to preserve, protect and share our local history. The commemorative bricks will be placed in the new patio/gathering space outside the History Center as part of the 2024 Exterior Improvement Projects. Funds raised will support the overall capital improvement project.

We need BOLD History Heroes like YOU!
