Bri Krumwiede
BECHS Archivist
Bri joined BECHS as the Archives Assistant in 2022 and became the organization’s archivist in 2024. Bri has a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Library and Information Science, and she has experience with both historical societies and archives. She has a passion for increasing access to historical resources and helping others with their research.

Q: What is your favorite piece of history about Blue Earth County?
A: I love learning all about people and their stories, I get to learn something new and interesting every day!
Q: There’s so many fun things to do in Blue Earth County. What is your favorite activity in the area?
A: I love our county’s parks! From Rapidan Dam Park, to Sibley Park, to Lake Crystal’s Robinson Park, there are so many great places to explore.
Q: After visiting BECHS, what is one thing you’d like everyone to walk away with?
A: Something new! I always hope that visitors will get the chance to learn something new about their ancestors, home, or anything else about our shared history in Blue Earth County.
